Yes! We are passionate about showcasing locally grown produce.
No! Our honey is all locally-sourced and lab-tested to ensure that it contains nothing but pure Scottish honey. We never heat our honey above 40 degrees celsius, so it retains all its natural properties.
Crystallisation is a natural process and, far from harming the quality of the honey, actually preserves its flavour and quality.
Why not try crystallised honey in tea, on yogurt, or a toasted bagel?
If you prefer your honey uncrystallised though, slowly warm it in a bowl of warm water. Never microwave it, as overheating affects the quality. Scottish Bee Company honey is never overheated during the harvest, which helps preserve its natural properties.
Yes. Our honey comes in glass jars, with aluminium lids and recycled paper and card – all of which are widely recycled. Even our mailing bags are fully biodegradable, and made from 90% recycled plastic. We recycle old hive parts aswell.
